Grants are due this THURSDAY, December 1, 2016!



The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality is currently accepting applications for the 2016 Environmental License Tag Grant.  You must be an Oklahoma teacher (Preschool-12th grade), school environmental club, youth group leader, and/or organization with a youth component to apply for the grant.



Grants are available from $100-$1000. Examples of activities previously funded include:



*         Edible Gardens

*         Native Gardens

*         Pollinator Gardens

*         Outdoor Classroom Revitalization or Enhancement

*         Environmental Education Projects

*         Recycling

*         Composting

*         Green Schools


The deadline is THIS THURSDAY December 1, 2016.  The application is attached, or can be downloaded at http://www.deq.state.ok.us/pubs/lpd/eegrant2016.pdf
