[OKRA] Free "Lean and Green" Training to be offered at OU Health Sciences Center

The University of Oklahoma Lean Institute will be offering a session of its "Lean and Green" certification program at OU HSC starting in February.  This class is free, funded by a grant from the OK Department of Commerce, and is open to people in all industries.  Please take advantage of this program and send a team to training.  More details below.

Lean and Green
Workshops: Wednesdays, February 22, March 28th, and April 25th
8:30 - 5:00     Service Center Building - Room 111

This is a hands-on exploration of applying Lean Management efficiency tools to the issue of environmental waste in the workplace.  Over the course of this three month class, participants will identify and work on a real world environmental problem in their department, producing a revised process that is more environmentally friendly and saves money.  A list of some past projects from these classes has been attached.

Workshops are one full day each month, with a private coaching session with the instructor (1-2 hours) two weeks after each classroom day.  This course is funded through a grant from the OK Department of Commerce which allows us to offer it at no cost.
