[OKRA] Oklahoma Solid Waste Symposium Mar. 27-29

March 27th - 29th are the dates scheduled for the upcoming Spring Symposium of the Oklahoma Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA).  The event will be held in the conference facilities of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Catoosa.

The annual symposium provides a valuable opportunity for Oklahoma's solid waste managers, facility operators and others to obtain useful information from technical experts in the field and to network with colleagues involved with solid waste management operations.

SWANA certified professionals who attend the Symposium may earn up to 11 continuing education units (CEUs).  Transfer Station and Landfill operators who earn SWANA CEUs may also satisfy the ODEQ requirement for refresher training on the Oklahoma Waste Exclusion Plan.

Running concurrent to this year's line-up of informative Symposium speakers and interesting stops on the full-day facilities tour, a SWANA Certified Training Course will be offered.  The training, "Managing Solid Waste Collections Systems" will take place March 29-30 in the same conference facility as the Symposium.
