I am just surprised that they want to "eliminate worldwide literacy".
I would think that they would want to eliminate illiteracy.
The I and L letters make a difference...

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to forward this press release from one of my clients, Better World Books, announcing their 2010 EPA award. For those of you who don’t know, Better World Books is a social enterprise that is focused on helping to eliminate worldwide literacy through donations of funds & books.
They are actively looking for municipalities & library systems interested in diverting their books rather than putting them into landfills. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in the various programs that Better World Books offers and I’m happy to connect you to the appropriate account rep. They will pay you by the pound for the books you can divert to their company, and they have eliminated most of the “pre-sort” requirements, so it’s basically, box up the books and ship them to BWB….easy! A great way to generate both tons (for your reporting requirements) as well as funds (for your program!).
I wish you all a safe, healthy & happy Holiday season!
Sincerely,
Adam
