Glass collected in recycling programs is sent to be crushed and turned into cullet. The cullet is sent to the manufacturers to be used as feedstock to make new glass. OKRA is working with the glass industry to divert glass from our landfills and send it to be reused and turned back into glass products. Glass is 100% recyclable. This report published by the Glass Recycling Coalition will tell you more about what is happening in the glass recycling industry. <br><div><br></div><div><br></div><div style="text-align:center"><br></div><div style="text-align:center"><img src="cid:ii_lswbnaeg2" alt="image.png" width="190" height="250" style="margin-right: 0px;"><br></div><div style="text-align:center"><b style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:11pt"><i><span style="font-size:14pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:rgb(0,158,222)">Consumer

Coalition has released its latest survey on glass recycling. The survey
measures how different members of the glass recycling chain view the current
state of glass recycling. The survey found resident expectations on the ability
to recycle glass grew slightly from 90% in 2020 to 93% in 2023. The survey also
highlighted top challenges faced by public-sector respondents to include
cost-effectiveness and lack of acceptance/recycling options. Additionally,
nearly 87% of public-sector and 83% of glass industry respondents express
interest in grants to help strengthen glass recycling. </span></p>
