[OKRA] Now Available to apply for DEQ - Environmental Education Grants

We need your help to spread the word about the DEQ Environmental Education
Grant!  This easy to apply for grant can help teachers fund activities for
their students.  See list below of eligible activities.  Please share this
with a teacher you know!  Deadline to submit your application is December
15, 2025.

The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality is currently accepting
applications for the 2025 Environmental License Tag Grant.



Eligible applicants include: Oklahoma teacher (Preschool-12th grade),
school environmental club, youth group leader, and/or organization with a
youth component to apply for the grant.



Grants are available from $200-$2500.



Examples of activities previously funded include:



·         Edible Gardens



·         Native Gardens



·         Pollinator Gardens



·         Outdoor Classroom Revitalization or Enhancement



·         Environmental Education Projects



·         Recycling



·         Composting



·         Green Schools





The deadline is – Monday, December 15, 2025.
