Do you know of a school, school environmental club or youth organization
that have some great ideas for community programs, but need a little cash
to do them?  If so, please forward this press release about the
Environmental Education License Tag Grant.  As you can see from the
description, there are many environmental activities that will be funded.
This is a way you can help promote environmental education!

The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality is currently accepting
applications for the 2023 Environmental License Tag Grant.  You must be an
Oklahoma teacher (Preschool-12th grade), school environmental club, youth
group leader, and/or organization with a youth component to apply for the
grant.

Grants are available from $200-$1500. Examples of activities previously
funded include:



·         Edible Gardens

·         Native Gardens

·         Pollinator Gardens

·         Outdoor Classroom Revitalization or Enhancement

·         Environmental Education Projects

·         Recycling

·         Composting

·         Green Schools



The deadline is – *Friday,* *December** 1, 2023*.  Information and
