According to a 2018 survey

conducted
by the Glass Recycling Coalition (GRC) <https://www.glassrecycles.org/>,
more than 27% of MRFs have glass clean-up equipment. That same survey found
that 92% of residents/customers expect to recycle glass. Last year the GRC
launched a MRF Certification program that focuses on recognizing additional
steps MRFs implement to clean-up glass in the sorting process. RRS supports
the GRC and would like to invite your membership to attend a free webinar
on Wednesday, June 17, 2:00pm - 3:00pm ET, where they will learn about the
MRF glass certification program, hear from certified MRFs and industry
representatives on how they handle glass in their systems, and understand
the benefits of cleaner glass in the market.
