About Maureen Turner

Maureen Turner is the Division Manager of Refuse & Recycling for the City of Tulsa and has been employed with the city for 15 years. Her division oversees all aspects of solid waste, which includes residential, commercial and intergovernmental trash and recycling collections, bulky waste collections, neighborhood dumpsters, illegal dumping, dead animal pickup, special event collections. She also manages communications and marketing for her division.

She is a FEMA/ODEM/TAEMA liaison and her department oversees emergency weather-related disaster response for debris pickup, snow and ice and flood events for the city.

Maureen is a member of the Solid Waste Association of North America and is currently Vice President of the Oklahoma Recycling Association.
