Have you been wanting to start a Master Composter Program in your community? See info below re the Master Composter training session scheduled for Thursday, June 18 in Fort Worth, TX.

Only Texans will be eligible to be certified as Master Composters through this program, however the June 18 workshop will help anyone who wants to learn about building a similar program in ANY community.  STAR is happy to share their model with us! Contact them directly to register ($25 materials and food fee).

Learn How to Start a Backyard Composting Program in Your Community!
If you are interested in starting a Master Composter program in your community or revitalizing an existing program - then this is the place to be!
Registration is now open<https://t.e2ma.net/click/x0qjh/hk7wc/t9igrc> for the Master Composter training session being held on Thursday, June 18. The orientation will be held in Fort Worth at the Hazel Harvey Peace Center for Neighborhoods from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. The price for the orientation is $25 and covers the cost of all materials, handouts, and light snacks.




What can you expect from the orientation?

  *   Learn the ins and outs of the Master Composter program!
  *   Familiarize yourself with the curriculum and required texts
  *   Discover what resources STAR can provide for communities wanting to host Master Composter events
  *   Network with others who are interested in bringing backyard composting to their communities
