[bio]Presenter Biography

Greg Brouse is the Process and Quality Manager of Eastern Industries Mining Division based in Winfield PA.  He has over 35 years experience in the production and control of hot mix asphalt (HMA) and related products.  His passion in experimenting and inventive ideology has led his team in designing numerous products and techniques to benefit the HMA industry. Among those efforts include countless projects utilizing ground tire rubber (GTR), which has ultimately led to adoption of a specification for use Pennsylvania - the main state of his company's operations. Other innovations by his team include a patented fatigue testing device (FAT), a pre-placement acceptance technique called "Real Time Voids" and a warm mix asphalt foam system called "Smartfoam".
