If you have not yet joined or renewed your OKRA membership for 2014, please see the email notice below.
When you join, be sure to indicate whether you'd like to help with a Work Group.
OKRA Work Groups include:
* Advocacy: Make OKRA better known among Oklahoma legislators. Establish OKRA as the "go to" organization for recycling and resource recovery issues in our state.
* Composting: Promote composting as a resource recovery strategy and represent the Oklahoma Composting Council.
* Education: Organize a PSA video contest for high school students in honor of America Recycles Day; recognize K-12 schools for their efforts with the OKRA "Recycling Award for Schools."
* Outreach & Communications: Update OKRA website content and maintain engagement via the listserv and social media.
* Market Development: Strive to find new local markets for recyclables collected in Oklahoma.
* Waste Exchange: Promote the online Materials Exchange, a matching service for businesses and industries that want to find takers for the by-products they generate or acquire the by-products of other businesses.

To join OKRA or renew your membership:
By Mail: Download a membership brochure from www.recycleok.org/join-us.php<http://www.recycleok.org/join-us.php> and send it with your check to PO Box 521154, Tulsa, OK 74152-1154.
By Internet: Go to www.recycleok.org/join-us.php<http://www.recycleok.org/join-us.php> and access the online membership form toward the bottom of the page. You then have a choice of paying online via PayPal or by mail (send your check to the PO Box above).
If you are associated with an organization - whether non-profit, government or corporate - please encourage your organization to become a member as well. This allows both you and your organization to receive recognition and it also guarantees a discount for you at OKRA events.
OKRA Membership Levels:
$1 Student Member
$5 K-12 School Recycling Coordinator Member
$25 Individual Member
$75 Non-Profit/Government Partner (one representative)
$100 Corporate Partner (one representative)
$250 Corporate Bronze Partner (two representatives)
$500 Corporate Silver Partner (three representatives)
$750 Corporate Gold Partner (four representatives)
$1,000 Corporate Platinum Partner (five representatives)
Member benefits include receiving our newsletter and information about OKRA activities throughout the year via email, plus recognition in the OKRA Newsletter. Members at the Individual level and above also are eligible to elect and/or serve as OKRA officers and board members. Corporate, Non-profit, and Government Partners receive website recognition in proportion with their membership level. Members up to and including the Corporate Partner level are associated with one representative and receive one discount at OKRA events; one additional representative and discount is provided per subsequent level.
