RECYCLE-BOWL

KAB is proud to announce the launch of "Recycle-Bowl<http://recycle-bowl.org/>," the first comprehensive nationwide recycling competition for elementary, middle and high-school students. Recycle-Bowl was created to provide students with a fun, interactive way to learn about waste reduction and environmental responsibility through in-school recycling.  Open to all U.S. schools and classrooms, the incentive-based recycling competition and benchmarking program kicks off this October and registration is now open on the Recycle-Bowl website at http://recycle-bowl.org. The competition runs from October 17 through November 12, culminating around America Recycles Day.

We ask that you spread the word about this new program.  To assist you in doing that, attached are two documents related to Recycle-Bowl - the news release announcing the competition and a document that includes a sample e-newsletter article, blog post and a social media update for Facebook. The language is tailored for the recycling community.

Key Recycle-Bowl key dates:
October 10 - Registration closes
October 17 - November 12 - Competition is held
December 16 - Reports due
