[OKRA] Register now for the Oklahoma Recycling Seminar

Take advantage of early-bird registration rates for "Recycling Across Oklahoma: Urban, Suburban and Rural," hosted by the Oklahoma Recycling Association on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center in Stillwater.

Registration rates will go up after Oct. 6 so be sure to register now and reserve your place. Fees include all sessions, continental breakfast, lunch, refreshment breaks, parking and an optional, post-seminar tour of Stillwater Public Schools' cafeteria vermicomposting operation.

Topics include updates, economic outlooks, future trends and changes in the industry as well as case studies of successful recycling and composting programs.  Household hazardous waste, tire collections, e-waste and master recycling programs will also be covered as will Walmart's Zero Waste Program. Sessions will be lead by industry, government and non-profit experts.

The 2011 Oklahoma Recycling Seminar is sponsored by Greenstar Recycling, ODEQ, OEMA, the Choctaw Nation, OGE Energy Corp., the Indian Nations Chapter of SWANA, and Sierra Club Oklahoma. Continuing education credits will be offered to members of the Solid Waste Association of North America.
