You are one of about 600 subscribers to the OKrecycles email list
administered by  OKRA.  As a listserv member, you may post messages to the list;
however, given the number of subscribers, it will be important for us to
follow a few guidelines when posting.
How to Post a Message:

To post to this listserv, you may send your message to:
_okrecycles at recycleok.org_ (mailto:okrecycles at recycleok.org)
Your message will then be reviewed by a listserv administrator, according
to the guidelines below. We are volunteers, so keep in mind that it may
take a while for your message to be posted.

Posting Guidelines:

-Messages will be approved if they concern recycling issues that affect
Oklahomans.
-Do not post political messages. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization,
political postings could jeopardize our status. Let's also be courteous to
members of the listserv who may hold different political views.

-Do not post "forwards" or links unless they meet the criteria in these
guidelines (if posting forwards or links, include a short description and how
the information concerns us in Oklahoma).

-No advertisements or items for sale will be approved for posting
(exceptions may occasionally be made for OKRA members to advertise the sale of
second-hand recycling equipment.)
-Examples of approvable postings include: Announcements of OKRA meetings,
events, activities, issues and volunteer opportunities; carpool offers or
requests for rides to OKRA meetings, events and activities; promotion of
other local meetings, events, activities, issues and volunteer opportunities
that are in line with our mission; recycling news that may be of interest
to Oklahomans.
-Approved posting examples can be found by browsing our listserv archives:
_http://frodo.syminet.com/pipermail/okrecycles_
(http://frodo.syminet.com/pipermail/okrecycles)
-If you wish to respond to a posting, please respond directly to the
person who posted, rather than the listserv (unless your response is relevant to
the entire listserv).

Our experience has been that people unsubscribe from listservs that are
too busy or not representative of the group's mission. Let's keep our
listserv relevant, inclusive, friendly and on task.

Thank you for your cooperation. If you have comments/suggestions about
these guidelines, please email _info at recycleok.org_
(mailto:info at recycleok.org)

Ellen Bussert
OKRA Secretary
