[OKRA] Call for Nominations - reply by 1/24/10

You are invited to nominate yourself or someone else to be an OKRA officer or board member.

Open positions:

*         President

*         Vice-president

*         Secretary

*         Treasurer

*         Executive Committee Board Member (two positions open)

*         At-large Members of the Board (several positions open)

Each position is for a 2-year term (with the secretary and treasurer staying on an additional year as mentors to their replacements).  Elections will take place in February.  Position terms will begin at the April 1st OKRA Board Meeting.

Eligibility for any office is OKRA membership within the previous year, except for president, who must have served on the executive committee or board within the previous year.

Executive Committee and Board Members are expected to participate in four meetings per year, either in person or by conference call. Members already holding leadership positions may nominate themselves for the same or a different position.

Please reply with your nomination(s) by Monday, 1/24/11 by emailing info at recycleok.org<mailto:info at recycleok.org> with the following information:


1)      Name and phone number or email address of person being nominated (you may nominate yourself).


2)      For what position?


3)      Why do you wish to serve (or why should the person you are nominating serve)?


4)      What skills/talents would you bring to OKRA leadership (or mention the skills/talents of the person you are nominating)?
