[OKRA] Solid Waste Management - educational resources

Seven solid waste management resource trunks are available around the state for K-12 educators, 4-H leaders and others to borrow for use in the classroom or outdoors.



Trunks feature a "Close the Loop: Buy Recycled" display and samples of products made from recycled materials, plus activities and resources on illegal dumping, reduce, reuse, recycle, composting and household hazardous waste.  Trunk materials, which are arranged by topic and grade level, include lesson plans, fact sheets, posters, guidebooks, DVDs, and CD-ROMs.


Located in Ada, Cordell, Enid, Muskogee, Oklahoma City, Stillwater and Tulsa, trunks are available for loan for up to three weeks at a time. For more information and trunk application visit: http://agecon.okstate.edu/wastenew/index.asp or download the attached PDF file.
