Great News!
Lowe's retail stores will now accept household compact fluorescent bulbs (CFLs) for recycling.
They are planning a press release around Earth Day, but I've been assured by the corporate office that all Lowe's now have a program in place to accept household CFLs for recycling. These CFLs can be from any producer, not necessarily Lowe's.
This program is not for tube fluorescent bulbs, just CFLs.
Happy CFL recycling!
