I was disappointed to see the newsletter tell people to screw the lids back on the plastic bottles.
This was reprinted from Earth 911 and is not true with the market information for Oklahoma recycling. It is also disputed that consumers should do this anywhere for safety reasons. Bottles full of air can explode a bale of plastic. Plastic lids can also jam sorting equipment

I just think this was bad information to pass on to Oklahoma recyclers. The lids can be recycled separately by Aveda, but just not screwed tightly on the bottle like the article instructs them to do.
